Oftentimes, we get caught up in a minutiae of the grind when we are an entrepreneur.
We get supremely caught up in the "she's winning" and "I need to do more" mindset...but why?
Why are we so obsessed with the grind, but not the healing?
It Comes Down To Worthiness
When I was younger I was in an environment that didn't support my uniqueness, not because my parents didn't love me, but because they were handling their own pain and suffering and that often led to a home that was full of chaos and pain.
I knew at a young age that I could read people, I just didn't know it was going to shape the rest of my life the way it did and the way it continues to to this day.
I knew that my parents were in pain, I knew that our home life was 'f*cked' to be blunt.
What I didn't know was that if I was to have the impact I am meant to have here on planet earth, I was going to have to go through a whole lotta shit to get there.
When I look back at the last 5 years, I can see things more clearly then when I was in it at the beginning. I can see that all the parts of my 'journey' (this word bugs me lol), had to happen the WAY they happened and that while I was in it, it pissed me off or confused me or simply gutted me. Hindsight and all that jazz, but it really had to be that way for me to get the lesson.
I remember the first time I went to Unleash The Power Within with Tony Robbins.
Day 3 is called "Transformation Day" and it was, painfully so in fact. I remember doing a boomerang on Instagram with tears in my eyes to show my followers that even coaches have crazy growth moments and that we too need to peel back layers and layers of pain and stories all the time.
Fast forward to now and I have spent over $140,000 on my personal development and 1000's of hours learning and developing myself as a coach...but there is always another level and whether or not I reach it depends 100% on me...no one else.
Healing Has To Be A Part Of This
When you set out to start a business, the absolute last thing you think about is healing.
You think about:
Marketing
Sales
Website
Logo
Your Service
Your Product
Click funnels
Finance etc.
Healing is nowhere on that list at all, I get it, no one talks about this part so we don't even realize we need it.
But we do.
When I set out 8 years ago and 15 plus years before that to start my businesses, I was in need of deep healing.
Healing from trauma that I experienced along the way that would set me up for failure.
Why?
Because I hadn't made peace with any of the things that I needed to in order to push myself to the limits I needed to push in order to have a successful company.
I am always going to be in a state of 'healing' I think we all are.
"We are walking each other home", as Ram Dass says, and that includes your healing.
So What Does This Have To Do With Business?
A lot actually. If you aren't healing in some way from the things that you have experienced, you have no chance in business or at least in a business that lights you up the way Love Soldiers lights me up.
When we haven't done the work, things can pile up.
It will show itself in the following ways:
The way you think about your business
The way you talk about your business
The opportunities that come your way
The chances you take
How often you actually work in the business
The kinds of clients and customers you go after
How you manifest inside the business
How you treat your team
And if you're all in or not
The list can go on and on.
When I think about the Love Soldier Brand, I get very excited and feel really called to do it all.
We have BIG plans for this company, but here's what's real.
I will not do any of the BIG stuff or play full out if I have not worked on my inner healing.
I won't do the masterclasses, I won't do the speaking engagements, I won't even write the blog...if I don't feel like I am worthy of any success, I simply won't be all in.
And if I think I can bypass the 'ugly' parts, I will simply fail before I have even started.
Does this guarantee your business success?
Fuck no!
BUT, it sure as shit gives you a head start.
When you've done the inner healing work, combined with the mindset work, you've got a massive edge on anyone else who's simply going into business.
If you're serious about bringing your business to the masses, you HAVE to be all in and go for it. Mindset, healing, all of it.
I have and it's paying off. Slowly, but surely, it's paying off.
I want you to succeed, we have to mama, there is no other way to heal the Collective and make no mistake, YOU are a part of the Collective, we all are...so let's get to healing it shall we?
